Abseil and then explore what is one of New Zealand's most special and picturesque places. No glowworms here, but St Benedict's Cavern is regarded by many as the countries prettiest cave or 'best dressed' cave. The trip is relatively gentle, dry and physically not that hard. It's a great option if you are looking for something not too cold and wet, but still sporty with lots of activity and fun!

St Benedict's includes 2 abseils and a spectacular underground flying fox. Just imagine yourself flying past the stalactites!

You'll be truly amazed with what's hidden underneath the beautiful farm landscape. Allow 3.5 hours for this trip, including approximately 1.5 hours underground. Trip departs daily and bookings are essential.

Minimum age is 12 and the minimum amount of participants is set at 2. All you need is comfortable clothing (no jeans). We provide everything else.

There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: All sales are final. There are no refunds.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

This tour is comprised with two abseils (25 & 30 meters), a belayed (35 meter drop) down the flying fox, a log walk and rock scrambling with an exit via a hobbit hole. You will see stalactites, stalagmites, cave coral, columns, flow stones, and fossils.
